new virus user - quicky query
 

just bought a new virus TI. Should my modulation wheel be loose, or should it be sping loaded like the pitch wheel? (mine is loose - i just wanted to check that this is what it should be like).

the mod wheel shouldnt have any spring in it. It should stay at whatever level you left it at when you let go.

I thought the same too, when I originally got my Indigo. :) My previous synth, a Korg Trinity, had a spring-loaded XY joystick for pitch and mod duties.
