I've never heard a Soviet synth...what are they like?

the polyvox filter design is amazing, when oscilated it produces weird square wave insted of the normal sine.
back in the 70s they were sort of copying the popular western poly synths.
you can defently see (not sure about hear) the resemblence to some of the popular japanish analog polys and later on digital controled analogs.

i know the soveit brand are also famous for their microphone designs & Organs.

I was about to buy a couple of sovietsynthesizer but i had to back down from the deal simple because I accidently broke my window which did cost loads of cash to fix. But they are simple awesome, _great_ filters aswell as _great_ sounding, warm and really really fat!

And they are bloody cool with their "синтезаторов!" text on the synthesizers!
