MIDI Controllers resetting after switching Channels in Logic
I know this must be a simple fix, but I can't figure it out for the life of me.
I have a Virus KC and use it in conjunction with Logic 6 on Mac OSX. The problem is that when I edit any controllers (filter, LFO, etc.) and leave that sequencer channel in Logic, it resets all of the information back to the default patch. Obviously very frustrating. I don't if it is because of the setting I have the controller engine set to (ie. internal, or internal + MIDI, or just MIDI), or whether it is a preference within Logic. This is very frustrating and any sort of input would be amazing...thanks!! Eric |
I don't know if this works with a Virus KC, but I had the same with a TI and got the option:
You should find a option named "programm change" in the edit-menu of the master section. you have to set it to "disabled". In the multimode you have to do it for every patch. then they won't change anymore. |
It's a Logic thing - in the instrument's parameters, you'll see three boxes:
