should update Indigo's OS?

I bought a second-hand Indigo, and its OS is the one that came from the factory. I wanted to ask if the latest OS for the Indigo is worth downloading and update my current one; since it's a discontinued project, I don't know what sort of problems were found in the original OS and what bugs were solved...

if someone helps me about this, I'll be greateful.
thanks

Yes, it's definately worth it.

Loads of bug fixes, and extra functionality too. Like the extra PureTuning feature (microtuning), etc.

ok thanks, mate. Now I'll see how it's done. I'm very very new to this, and my sequencer doesn't accept sysex. anyway I'll find the way I guess.

I think I can use Sonar's demo to update it.

Now, I've never handled sysex before and I'm a bit paranoic since my synth is a second-hand one.

are there any risks when trying to update the OS?
