[Feature Request] Assignable Audio outs
 

Is there a way to:

1. Connect the Virus TI to my computer (OS X) via USB
2. Startup Ableton Live 5.x (no VirusControl)
3. Configure the MIDI ports
4. Set the audio out to be the Virus' audio outs
5. Set Ableton's main out to be the Virus' #3 stereo outs

That way the output from my laptop is transmitted from the 3rd set of outputs on the Virus... and the Virus' internal synth stereo output is going directlyl out the 1st set of stereo outs. Leaving the 2nd set of outs for whatever I need.

Via USB it seems the only available audio ports are Channel #1 L/R.

That's where your idea of 'Totally Integrated' and Access' idea of 'Totally Integrated' differ.

All you need to do is use the output 1 for Live, and output 2 and 3 for the Virus sounds.

I think that Access are probably more inclined to get the current configuration as stable and universally compatible as possible before they start including every possible variant that can be thought of.
