45 days would take it to march 9.....
...and I remember ben crosland saying "45 days or sooner" I really hope access shows enough respect to let people with preorders know where they are up to. my guess is that if we hear anything at all - it will prob be 'shipping in another 45 days' :? i would really like my keyboard now please mr access. cheers blay |
At least if we could have an update on the situation! I'm not even asking for a specific date, I just wanna know what is going on @ Access.
I'm getting worried to say the least ;) |
Are you guys really that worried? Impatient maybe lol. Its gonna come soon enough.....

I just hope it bloody works flawlessly when it finally DOES get released. I couldnt think of anything worse than Access to spend months of delays fixing bugs only to release it with loads still in it (which will probably happen anyway), only to leave us waiting again for months on end for an OS update fixing them.

I really can't understand why there is no "official" response from Access, for those that have put down their pre-orders a third of a year ago. It's been left to Ben, a non-Access hardware/software developer, to be at the 'front-end' in giving nothing more than a 'possible' date.
The "wall of silence" is abhorent, really. Very disrespectful. |
I can only think of two possible reasons (please add more as appropriate :) )
1) They seriously dont have a fucking clue when it will be ready because they didnt R/D properly on this TI malarky and have now only found out how difficulty it is to implement 100% stable. 2) They do know exactly when it will be ready but if they told us the truth (end of 2005?) they know we would all go fucking mad at them :) ten |
3) The hardware itself is fine, it's the plug-in (VST & AU) that has issues. It's very hard to create a plug-in that is 100% compatible with all systems. They want to release the whole package together. If this were the case, I'd be willing to download the plug-in on a later date.
(remember, speculations only) |

The TI Line is still in beta test and we are confident to ship within the next weeks. It's hard to predict when exactly since it's impossible to predict which remaining bugs we will find. Thanks for your understanding.
