lfo effect thingy
Hi all,
I need a bit of sound design help?I'm trying to create a certain effect I've heard on a few records recently? I'll try to describe the effect.. Basically you take any sound, say a vocal sample, one word.. The word is repeated and the repeats start slowly and increase in speed, like the rate of an lfo increasing, together with this the pitch of the sample increases as the lfo rate increases.. So you've got this vocal sample repeating faster and faster and increasing in pitch all the time until eventually it will just be a tiny blip repeating really fast. I was kinda thinking I'd route some audio through my virus and use the lfos to achieve this somehow, but how would I assign the sound to retrigger when the lfo completes one cycle. man I hope this all makes sense! How can I achieve this.. Any suggestions? Thanks, Z. |

Errr... Isn't that just an LFO in env mode controlling pitch and pitch LFO rate?
