A new upload called Fretdeath.

Is it breakbeat?
Is it rock?

I don't have any idea.

This track is an older track which made it onto the CD I just completed - so I thought I'd upload it. I wouldn't say it's one of my favourites, but it's different to antyhing else I've done before. :D Maybe one day I'll try to make 2 songs in a similar style.

Just a warning: The intro is a bit quiet but it builds up.

Go to the electromancer link in my signature and look for Fretdeath.

it sounds good but i want to point out some stuff that buged me
the bassdrum is just too loud and havey
cut it down some more around 40hz
other then that it sounds good
add some more synth parts 8O

Tomer.

thanks for listening tomer!

yeh, that bass drum seems to be the route of all evil! on some systems there's nothing, but on others the bass pounds!

about the synth parts...well....its not really that sort of track IMO.

That bass drum is just nice. It doesn't mud up the mix and gives a good boom. I like this! But I think it still needs something more. I'm used to listen to music which has lots of stuff on the background to give some ambience. Maybe some additional heavily distorted and compressed drums on the background would work.

thanks for the feedback juho!

yeh thats what i mean about the bass-drum - on some systems its fine but on others...well....it works OK on everything i tested it out on here except a friends car stereo!

i actually experimented with some more effected drums in the backgroud, but i felt it took away from the raw sound the track has.
