Midi/ Audio interface

looking for a new midi/ audio interface as i'm at last fed up with this Behringer BCA2000 crap and it recording midi notes late in cubase.

i need a small robust and inexpensive USB 2 device with midi in and out (rock solid midi driver for XP SP2) and which will let me hear the sound output from my PC when browsing and playing mp3's etc.. i have another audio device which does the job for everything else studiowise.

what do you recommend?

cheers

Hmmm... I dont think another USb2 device is going to really make any difference...

Would suggest having a look at firewire devices - my experience is that they seems a hell of alot less prone to latency and jitter problems.

thanks dudes... i just went ahead earlier today and ordered the above
if it fails on me in any way i'll go the pci firewire route...

External firewire is the bestest
