A virus supersaw close to a jp?

Hi, I have finally had time to post my version of my virus supersaw (jp emulation), this version is modified. Let me know what you think, check it out.

also check out a clip of morpheda (a small trance project)

all of which was programmed on a virus classic (desktop version)[/url]

being the former owner fo an 8080, I hate to break it to you m8, but it doesn't come close in terms of fatness and resonance. Dont get me wrong, it is a good attempt and a nice trance lead, but doesnt match the JP supersaw. It seems to be missing the mid range.

just bounce to audio in you sequencer and EQ the mids up a little. Or you could layer it with the same sound, just eq themj differently, and that will defenitely get you in the ballpark.

That a single patch, or a multi? I'm erring toward the latter...

Guess there's no chance of a *.mid file? ;)

The feedback OSC adds overtones to the sound. Best way to know what it does though is get someone to post you a sample of the thing. I looked for a written explanation a while back and couldn't find any detailed explanation.

Sorry to butt into your thread though Garym.

^^^^ Hollowcell explained it about as best as I could. It is one of those things where you can hear it, but no really explain it.

Garym,
How long have you been designing? What are your influences?
