knob tweaking technique question

what parameters/knobs do u guys tweak when you wanna build intensity through a lead ??
i find that after i have the sound i like....there is not much more to do with it....or rather...none of the parameters are causing much of a change in the sound, for a good enough build up in intensity....maybe i'm just not finding the right ones....

I am talking about more psy trance acid leads.....

thanks..

Hey, your asking to share secrets now???;)

A tb303 you will never get out of the virus... But if you want some acid sounds:

There are many kind of acid sounds... But the main thing to do is to use one filter (lo pass or band pass) put off filter two and tweak the Cutoff freq when the resonance is around 70% or so... Keep in mind that fine tuning every knob is important to make it sound pro.

choosing different waveforms will give an other sort of acid... also choosing different filters will affect the sound (analog, digital, 24db or 12db,...) Also sound saturation will make the sound sound in a different way... Also envelopes can change alot... Alot to discover :)

listen where the sound is going :)

first try cutoff
with high res;)

You can do some weird stuff by tweaking FM amount while it's playing.

Envelopes, cutoff, resanance, and you can use the eq sectin to beef them up.

Tweaking the send level of the delay effect can have some dynamic results.
