Trouble switching from Multi mode to Single

When I'm working in Multi mode (Virus C) and switch to single mode, sometimes I can't hear anything when I play the patches. Then I switch back to multimode and can hear it again. It doesn't cure it when I restart either. Has anyone else had this problem?

i bet you have played with the following, but ill ask n e way...

are you sure you are triggering the virus on the global midi channel? eg virus set to global channel number1, then triggering from midi channel 1 from your sequencer.

really thats the only thing i can think of at the moment....specially since in multi mode the thing is working OK......

maybe give us a little more info....hopefully someone can shed some light!

i'd agree with the cell of hollowness - make sure you're on the global channel from you sequencer.

Cheers, I'll give it a go. It's definitely going to be a midi channel thing I think.

why do you switch to single mode then?

single mode has it's own midi channel setting. if it is because you want to edit the patch the answer would be: use MULTI-SINGLE mode:

- press [MULTI]+[SINGLE] same time
- both LEDs light up.

in this case the MULTI is active but you can edit the selected part like in SINGLE mode. Select the part the by using [PART-] [PART+]
