Help Needed!!! loading Samples into Virus TI!!

Hey, I own a virus TI. I lost my manual for it when I recently moved home.

And I heard you could load your own samples into the virus TI, can I do this via USB?Can you tell me simply step by step? like what Cables are required, where to plug them.

Im using my virus TI sofware also, is it possible to load it into via usb? Do I haveto change the format of my audio WAV. file?

im using cubase 4.

ALSO, what buttons do I press to switch my virus Ti off; I have completely forgot.

be careful what you say;)
The TI do not import own samples in the engine.
I think Waldorf Blofeld and clavia Nordwave can do this.

But if he could do this...................Dann wäre er im Vergleich zur Schweinegrippe die Apokalypse in Sachen Virenausbreitung:p

Ok well thanks for your response,

How do you switch the virus TI off? I forgot. I dont want to haveto unplug it via the MAINS everytime I want to switch it off.

Also, if I turn my samples into MIDI, can I use that in the atomiser? or the virus ti software?:|

Press and hold the two Transpose buttons simultaneously. The Virus then falls asleep in 3 seconds. Press either one of them again to wake it up.

The manual can be downloaded somewhere at the bottom of this page : http://www.access-music.de/downloads...virustidesktop

And about the samples...do you really know what kind of synth you have bought...?!?
No....it can not be loaded into the Virus in any kind of way.....
Only thing you can do is connect a external soundsource and let it run through filters/effects or the atomizer.

But why not load samples into the TI?
Is where not enough power?

Samples are a case of data storage, either RAM or Flash ROM or similar. Save for the singe-cycle PCMs and wavetables, there isn't any further storage available on the Virus to hold longer samples (unless the TI|2 has a trick up its sleeve).

If you want full sample playback on a keyboard, you're best off with a workstation like the Korg Triton or M3, Roland Fantom, MC909 or V Synth, Yamaha Motif, etc.

Connect external sound source to your input of your TI...select a Atomizer patch and while your sound source is playing or running start pushing those buttons on your keyboard to listen what happens.
