They definitely take more time to get into than the HyperSaw, but are ultimately more rewarding, IMO.

Start with 4 to the floor kicks, dial up a hypersaw, select level of abuse, and start banging out those trance stabs  Hypersaw does get alot more interesting when you dont use it as the prominent wave and use it to add background depth/richness to other sounds - IMHO. |

There are also loads of patch demos at http://www.access-music.de as well. Very nice set from the "bright" and the "dark" side, I remember... Enjoy! :D |
Yeah, that "is that fat enough?"-video ;) I've seen it at least 50 times!
And those demos, I know them par coeur... So I know the hypersaw quite well (the way it sounds), but I don't know how the other "fake" hypersaw sounds (simple saw with 8 unison) |
There is a patch somewhere that is a 'fake' hypersaw. Not as rich, but probably more energy to it and more cutting.
Cant remember the patch name now, will see if I can find it later, something like 3 Saws or similar...? That ring a bell with anyone? |

hmm, I think it doesn't matter anymore, I decided for a Virus TI nevertheless. It's really frustrating to know that it will probably arrive in not less than two months, but I fell in love with it when I was auditionning it and I don't think that a Virus C would make me feel the same. The TI looks much better, that's the main reason...
