Psy Trance Lead sound

Anyone know how to get those "talky" psy trance synth lead sounds?
It sounds as if the lead is talking or singing almost , Im stumped where to start with this and its driving me nuts.
Artist examples:-
Hallucinogen
Infected Mushroom
Eskimo

I have no clue, but your mentioning of talking or almost singing reminds me of the formant filters in my old Emu sampler. It could make pads sound like choirs etc. I really wish the Virus had format filters =(

Easy Peasy.

Most psytrance leads are either hipass or bandpass-driven. You'll need two saws and a lot of modulation ( pitch, envelope).

There is some great patches in the Synsun collection. have a look at those and tweak!

Also check the cosmosis collection.

' Verbal ' will point you in the right way.

Pinpointer: keep it simple with psysounds. Most of it is very smart modulation.

yup...subatomic is right...check out the synsun and cosmosis patches...i know there are a few talk patches in there....
they use formant filters, which can be created using 2 or 3 bandpass filters in series or parallel(not sure) ...

google it...there are tutorials on making those sounds..on any synth...
i remember doing this in fruityloops.

also read the Howard Scarr guide to programing synths...
there are some useful tips in there...also couple of nice psy sorta sounds...
i like the bubbles one...
