enfield 17.08.2009 01:55 PM

+new sound demos  ...just had an orgasm

Ingo 17.08.2009 02:24 PM

I just tried to register for getting access to the downloads (my old data didn't seem to work) but my email address (freemail) is not accepted at the registration form. I just wrote a message to Access support.

h4nc0 17.08.2009 02:45 PM

That looks just like one of thousands ripoffs of Apple website. :|
I've also tried to signup but it says invalid email address. Tried Forgot Password, but nothing found on my email.

DIGITAL SCREAMS 17.08.2009 05:26 PM

I think the new Access website is awesome - good work guys.

I got an answer from Access support and now i was able to register successfully. Downloaded the 5 new TI banks. It will take some time to test them.

Good lock access!

Websites looking great nice and tidy!! Only thing is is this the beginning of the end for this forum? Is there no chance of integrating the two forums as i guess new users will go to the official forum instead of here

Timo 17.08.2009 10:51 PM

Congrats on the new design.

I'm fearing it may spell the death knell for this place.

Celestry 17.08.2009 11:15 PM

I doubt it, Timo! None of those who value what you and your Co have achieved here will be spending more time over there. (^_^) Unless, of course, there is subversive agenda in mind! (^_^)

Hollowcell 17.08.2009 11:37 PM

There is no way Timo, as the there still needs to be a place where people can vent about the trouble they are having. I just hope the fanbois head off and leave the real objective stuff here.

no way amigo. I have a sneaky suspicion that the official site will be a lot stricter in what it will allow on its forum, so I think the two sites will complement each other really well.

enfield 18.08.2009 08:35 AM

+1 ;) hehe

fgimian 18.08.2009 09:20 AM

Absolutely LOVE the new site! Very clean and professional design :)

My thoughts, exactly, Hollowdude! (^_^)

Access did jump the shark with the UI design and feel by blatantly lifting the over baked Apple formal that has been used to death. I wish it was a little more unique and creative from a marketing stand point to Access Music's own products, not Apples.

The content is definitely fresher, but always felt the new audio demos really dont do the Virus justice from a potential buyer perspective or sound variety. Just because the classic osc's or analog sounds arent the newest feature, doesnt mean they shouldnt be showcased too?

I would like to see a preset patch demo player like on the old site with the current sounds. Need to dig into the forum a bit more to make an assessment of it.

the bright side / dark side collections contains single sounds. i think this is what you're looking for.

Actually, it was those clips in particular I was referring too. They are a little underwhelming. At least with the old player, you could click through to the next sound quickly and see the patch name.

I know I am still new here, but I am learning a lot

I'll still fit this place into my busy forum schedule

I tried to register at the official forum as a non-owner and when I click the link to register it kicks me to a window that says "Member login to Access Music".

there is a blue link underneath the field where you put in your name etc. which lets you setup a new account. can't you see this link?

best, marc

I am on a work comp, routed through a proxy server with activex disabled

the site was buggy for me as well

Cantankerous 19.08.2009 08:17 PM

Hi Marc, will you be updating the broken audio to the LFO video anytime soon?

As well, it mentions there will be a part two to the OSC video, when do you expect this?

I really enjoyed watching these videos and look forward to viewing more in the near future.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Zylfrax791 20.08.2009 02:46 AM

Actually, it doesn't matter at this point. I've got one ordered and will be able to register as a user next week. Yeah!

The new site doesn't work for me...

First of all : I cannot contact Access with the contact form...after filling in my details there's totally nothing happening when i click on 'continue'...

Next to that,i already registered long long time ago (i get the newsletter from Access every once in a while too) but i cannot login...so i try to register...but :

When i want to register,i can fill in my details but there's no button or anything visible to confirm details...it just keeps me in that big white screen with a lock on it...

I asked other people, some of them have the same problems...i'm using Internet Explorer as my browser...seems people using Firefox have no problem...but come on man,how stupid is this ? Does nobody test this shit before they put it online ? How hard is it to just use a standard contact-form or hey, something crazy, just put an e-mail address on the site in case this type of shit happens ?

Sorry for moaning so much in my first post on this forum...but it seems this is the only place where i can get any type of support since Access changed to 'Access denied' with their new site...

I had good experiences with Access support some years ago when i just had my TI...and even before that with my Virus A...but this is just ridiculous : no way to reach support at all,the only place i could find on the net is this site..even their Facebook page links to the same contact form, the one that is unusable for a lot of people...

suzzymackenzie 23.08.2009 06:16 AM

Hi dione

Firefox user here. I signed up to the new Access forum a couple of days ago and successfully logged in once only. Subsequent times, the system didn't recognise me and I can't get back in. Tried requesting a couple of new passwords, no joy. Joerg is kindly investigating for me with ther web admin.

Just teething problems, I expect. Or something idiotic I am doing (more likely :-))

just send an email to support@ ... and don't forget your system details (OS, browser version, etc etc)

best, marc

Splat! 23.08.2009 11:38 AM

Marc, I couldn't get my hotmail or gmail accounts working, so I registered using my virus filled Yahoo id. I didn't get a confirmation mail (Mail Account's problem) I guess. Can't log in or make a new id, says my Virus is already registered : ( Joerg responded from customer support initially, but after that no answer. Can we just reset the entire website :D

I will do that,in fact i was already about to do that because i finally found the old support e-mail address in my old computer...

In the meanwhile, maybe it's useful to put a message on the website to tell other people that there are still problems with the site, plus info how to reach Access...

Timo 23.08.2009 12:57 PM

Regged on the first day, but can't log on now either.

The process of logging in to the forum just throws you back out unlogged. The actual homepage shows you logged in, but the forum refuses to recognise it, even after refreshing, clearing cookies, re-logging directly in, etc.

Doc Jones 23.08.2009 03:01 PM

Yeah, it seems like the majority of the problems with the site arise when using IE. When I use firefox, I can log in and navigate without any issues.

DiScO 23.08.2009 06:30 PM

I can't log in using Safari, Firefox or IE. All latest versions. I have to say I have never seen anything like it, ever! I registered with my TI S/N and it all went through ok but just cant login. Says wrong email address or password even though I request a new password, which goes to my email address and still cant login for days after that! Exactly what browser was this site designed to work with?

disco, get in touch with me privately. let's work on it, i'm sure we can find the reason. we've tested the site with all mayor browsers, only really old ones like IE5 (?) will not work well. for some content, you need flash and java script enabled.

did you reply to the email with the activation link?

best, marc

Hollowcell 23.08.2009 11:02 PM

Like the release of the TI all over again!! :) Hey it wasn't the same guys creating both the site and the TI OS was it? hehe had to be said.

Doc Jones 24.08.2009 02:11 AM

I'm sorry, but i refuse to believe that...the proof is in this thread and a lot of other posts on other forums...

The problem is not other people's browsers, but a bad scripted website...;)

"It takes a great man to admit to his mistakes":D

Oh,and the official respons from Access : "Please try again using Firefox"...
