Alternative to Atomizer

Hey guys,
Is there a hard module out there, which is exactly like the Atomizer function?
Not software, but as a rack mount or something?
Cheers

I don't see what wrong with using the Ti?

I have 3 samplers and would like to be able to create simultaneous looping/effects in my mix.

Wow, wasn't aware of the equipment.
But which one of these vast variety of plugins would resemble the atomizer?
Just wondering how DnB artists executed this prior to these new equipment introductions?
Cheers guys

They rearranged samples on their sampler. Non-realtime. ALl that fancy buffer related plugin business needs larger memory sets which is new technology.

I think the Nord Wave can do what the atomizer does...not sure though...
vaguely remember seeing a video on youtube...

Beat Repeat in Ableton Live is similar, you can also achieve a similar effect in Reason by combining different delays.

Sugarbytes Effectrix...

If you have a good ass midi controller and an effect like Glitch, or those fine Reaktor ensembles theres no reason why not to use software.

Although a little time consuming, but way worth it is to bounce a section of audio to a trimmed measure, import it into recycle to convert the wav/aiff to rex, use sage converter (BTW you need Stylus RMX) to load the rex file into stylus, use the chaos designer. Bam, gnarly glitch.

synthsonix 14.12.2009 01:24 PM

Yes, Rexing is wonderful...
In Ableton Live, you can throw in the audio, and use the slice-to-miditrack function and get the whole audio inside a Drumrack module for glitching...

And, my favorite mangling plugin of the moment, Sugarbytes Effectrix.
