And hippies.

The leftmost on the back row: Somehow he reminds me of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Its Mr Gumby !!

Edit: Checked by googling. He is Gates. |
And thanks too microsoft you get people hitting computers with hammers!
|
Of course, yeah.
I thought top right was Billy boy. Can see it now - its in the eyes... |
Can anyone here confirm that Bill Gates is owner/part owner of Apple computers?
I keep hearing this from a few people. |
Microsoft invested 150 million dollars in Apple Computers in 1997. From that day on there have been connection between Apple and Microsoft.

My first computer was a
and it ran MS Word 3.0 quite happily. My first sequencer was Dr T's. Not bad at all. I've nothing against PC's, just all the wasted years between 1996 and 2001, trying to get hardware and software to do all it promised. I'd fucking change back to Mac in a flash if I had the cash to invest in the software. The latest Macs are simply awesome. |
this is a rare piece , a special series built for the 20th anniversary of mac, only few 12000 pieces were produced:

Well I have made the switch at work to Ubuntu now, using open office etc. I have Ubutuntu on this computer as well, but I don't use it as much as the software I need at home is for XP.
One thing is for certain though.... More supoort for Ubuntu and Vista is in trouble. Ubuntu is really a nice, safe OS to use! Take a look at this for more MS blues. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/04...aming_oddness/ Dunno if I would make the switch to mac though.... |

Kids, if you think you're using a crappy OS, try out Fedora Core. It'll blow your mind. After a test drive even consuming poo sounds more appealing than using Fedora Core. "I think I'll check my e-mail..." *after ten hours of configuring* "Ok. So now I got the program running. Now just some account tweaking..." |
I think it is a matter of how you want to approach your computer. If you like to install things, make things work together and have a challange on your hand, you are perfectly fine with a PC. If you just want to switch it on and work with it, you need a Mac. It is just that easy.

Mac users always like to go on about PC's not working, yet my music PC works fine!
I could have built 3 or 4 for of them for the price of a Mac lol |

I wouldnt have wrote what i did above if it wasnt true Cubase has crashed once or twice but that was with some *dodgy* plugins a mate gave me to try ;) That lesson was learnt and ever since everything has run smoothly  Im not saying PC's are better than Mac's. Macs are better. but better by enough justify the price gap, im not so sure |
C'mon guys... what is this? Fucking high school? Who has the biggest cock? Who can piss the farthest?
The Mac Vs PC debate is just a useless fucking argument. Use whatever the fuck you want to use. Nobody likes a fucking preacher either. There is no reason a PC cant be as stable as a Mac, nor a Mac as buggy as a PC. It's mostly sequencer dependant now anyways. PS I am a Mac user, currently in San Francisco as OVM most kindly pointed out, and not a cock smoker. *YAAAAAWWWWN* Now lets fight about something else.... |
Logic vs Cubase anyone?

I love off topic, it kicks ass. People get mad and I laugh.:D
I own both a PC and a Mac. I ain't no software programmer, so Mac is perty user friendly. My PC is a giant expensive-ass paperweight which I use to download porn and post blogs.;) My 12" Powerbook which has been completely disassembled and put back together again...dropped twice...once from 7'(2.5m) still works like a champ. Sure those Mac commercials are quite queer, but hey aren't they all??? |
Fuck this!
Where's them old Commodore and Atari-users when ya need them? "My Atari ST is waaaaaay better than your Amiga 500" "No way! My Amiga rocks with it stable workbench-OS" "Dude, you are so wrong!!" |
The Atari ST. Once THE computer of choice for the musician. It even had midi ports as standard. Mate of mine in the 80's had an ST synced up to an 8-track Fostex reel-to-reel with 16 track mixer, Cubase, a DX7 and an ART reverb unit. It cost him the equivalent of a new, medium class car.

Jase, the piss challenge is ON. Will get this officially measured and photographed on my fishing holiday in 2 weeks. Finnish beer is pretty fekkin pissy, so I fancy my chances.
But damn.. You're in The States, I just remembered.. |

I love these threads....
Well it is a known fact that people who can piss farther generally have smaller holes in the end of their dicks. Presure build up and all that. Hardware is better than software. Using a mouse that has more than on button helps with computer work. My DAW is rock solid from day one, and it uses a mouse with more than button. My cock would have to be bigger than all you fuckers there as I stretch everyday with a brick and string. Cubase shits on Logic, but both shit allllll over Reason (that's for you Jasedee). Oh and Vantaa is by far the oldest here. |
