Ever been knocked out?
 

sadly tried a few times... a very strange sensation. Something between fainting and been extremely drunk...

Well I myself have never been knocked out, I've seen stars and tasted a metallic taste in my mouth with a strong knock to the head.

Although a funny story.....three weekends ago I was at a bar, this old drunk was wasted and ragging on the female bartender. He was eventually dragged out of the bar. The bouncer and two other customers were explaining to him to get the hell outta here. He "tried" to bunch this big-ass Samiaon, and the Samioan guy tapped him on the head, knocked the guy clean out. He fell on the ground and starting snoring, then pissed himself. It was great fun!

Yes... drunk and in a fight, woke up next day in hospital..... with a helluva hangover and a deep scratch down the side of my cheek where the guys tried to knife me. Bastards. Thankfully I picked the scab off the following week and no mark was left.

Yes at a karate recital when I was 12.

My hot-shot instructor (think of that ass on Napoleon Dynamite) was doing spinning back kicks full speed an inch away from my face so all the parents could go oooooohhhh & aaaaaaaaahh...

Then he missed and hit me right in the head. I was big (fat) for my age, which saved me.

This was in the days way before 1 800 Lawyer

I stayed in the sport, but with a more 'mature' instructor.

Once i played barstekball i knocked my head together with a mate i was playing with and we both ended on the ground. Other than that i´ve only been knocked out by alcohol and weed ;)

eh eh eh I didn't try to knock myself out but many time in the dojo someone else did...

In mma there is a "technique" called a rear naked choke. Not sure where the name comes from, but essentially if an opponent turns their back to you (this typically happens if they are on the ground underneath you and you are dropping punches and elbows), you snake your arms around their neck and constrict until either a)they tap out or b)they pass out.

I made the mistake once of giving up my back and then not tapping out. Next thing I knew I was being revived by the instructor - I had no clue what had happened. I learned two things from that day - 1) don't let me opponent get my back and if he does and manages to get me in a choke then 2) tap!! :)

I've been tazered but never punched out.

Those fucking tazers are bad ass.

My friend and I in Orlando all had one and we used to try and sneak up on each other and taze the shit of each other...before the TV show Jackass was out.

My friend Eric tazed our friend Sean right in the kidney. Sean fell like a limp sack of dirt, right to the ground.

I just got tazed in the leg.

I've been knocked out a few times, I can tell you them stories later on as I just wanna see every post now before they go away..

Me no... my 16yr old son, yes.

Two weeks ago he was knocked out 5 minutes into his rugby game, broke his nose in the process. Stupid fool played on when he came around. Went to hospital who confirmed concussion.

Two days later, he was in bathroom, picked a small boil/wart on his lip (vain 16yr old) - there was lots of blood and he feinted, hit his eye on the corner of the sink unit on the way to floor, and was out cold for 5 minutes. Woke up having panic attack not knowing wtf happened to him... bless....

Alright here's a story for ya:

Me and a couple of friends were just walking around in the neighbourhood, smoking cigarettes and talk some shait..

We get into a place were we usually don't hang around and there's 3-4 older and bigger kids. As the road is kinda narrow me and a friend goes first and just as we are about to pass them kids he swings and hits me straight on my jaw.. And he hit hard and with me not being ready whatsoever passed out for a good minute or two..

No snoring or pissing my pants though but a bloody headache and I was so pissed.. I went back out to find them with my bat.. Didn't find them, found their friends and scared them abit.

I was late for school so I ran to the station.. I thought I would take the shortcut, the thing was that the tempature had dropped below 0 C during the night and the evening before had been rainy as fuck.. So it was slippery wet.. but I didn't think of that as I really had to get to school.. As there was a person infront of me and get right next to him and right after that before him but I didn't see the ironbeam and once I saw it I couldn't stop as I had sneakers on me and it was icy.. I smacked right into that which of course knocked me out cold. I don't know how long I was passed out or anything, there were abit of blood and people around me trying to help me.. They had called for an ambulance but I went home before it arrived. I had a major headache for the next following weeks but it was all fine.

That was probably the most akward knockout I've been in aswell.. as it probably looked alotta funny when "the person realised that he were going to hit the beam. So he tried to brake but just had a nice cartoonish glide right into the beam and just smacks right down on the ground".
