In that last one the two guys on the far outside are thinking "I wonder what he tastes like", and the one with his arm around "nice and fat, ready for the pot!" :)

I'd hope so... considering we were filming for NatGeo!

Jase, you cool bastard, give us a chance to shake our heads and tut knowingly..

Can you give us the gear list you're using, please mate.

Video camera, your mic, recorder, cans, bottled water.

Are your pals using Final Cut to edit video? What about sound? Are you doing the sound editing? What software?

jasedee 05.03.2007 06:47 PM

My sound kit is based around a Wendt X5 (5 channel mixer), 2 x Sony UHF Diversity radio's using Sanken lapels, a K-Tek 5 stage boom, and a Sennheiser MKH416 shotgun mic.

Not entirely all top of the range, but it is good enough. Most in the industry are using Lectrosonics radio's which are the industry standard.

I record 2 tracks to camera at all times. mostly we use the Sony Digibeta cams, or HD cams. For the PNG shoot we were using the Sony HVR-Z1P HDV cam.

For post production all editing is done in Digidesign AVID suites, audio post using Protools HD7. I do some audio post editing and voice over recording.

You guys could've saved some serious wad there if you'd gone for a Sound Blaster running FruityLoops.

I got great results with my old Panasonic too:

Got some amazing results at kids' birthday parties over the years. Let me know if you guys need any help.

jasedee 05.03.2007 07:05 PM

Yeah...USD$100k on a camera and lens??? It is crazy, but the shots are amazing
