Suppliers, Stocks and Lead Times
 

Thought to initiate this thread specifically to track all info relating to Suppliers, Stocks and Lead Times etc.. with regards to the Ti in case anyone who hasn't yet ordered one has any trouble tracking one down

Which Synth or music equipment suppliers do you use?

Have you contacted them to find out how long it will be before they themselves receive the Ti?

How many back orders do they have to fullfil?

When will the back orders be filled so that the Ti is readily available in store?

etc.. etc..

Ive contacted my supplier a couple of times and no response as yet.

starting to get a little worried they were slack on the order with the delay and all.

I got a phonecall from Digital Village saying my order was among the first three reserved, and would be shipped out the same day as they receive it... which they believe will be the 3rd...

Very doubtful it will be the 3rd, especially if Turnkey the UK Access disty are not getting theirs until the 10th.

I emailed my guy at Digi village brum to ask when they expected stock (Iam no 2 on pre-order there btw :) and he said they hadnt even been told it was being released yet, and earliest was Feb 2006 lol.

Either way I seriously doubt there will be many people that have one in the UK in the first week if any.

Well I got two updates from Turnkey, the first said they expect a delivery on the 10th. Then later in the day another email to say that it may take upto 6 weeks to clear the backlog of orders, so it could be early December before mine turns up.

I remember back in May they said they had ordered 350 units (presumably a mix of all variations of the TI).

I placed an order with Musicstore.de last night, sent them an email today asking when I can expect shipment. They responded to say they cant find my order and could I go through the online ordering process again. 8O

I thought, yeah sure I will.. ... no thanks.

Sent them the initial order confirmation email... I await their response.

I just got off the phone with Novamusik and their keyboard tech feels very confident that he will be shipping TI desktop models next week. Keyboards and Polars he is not so confident about.

Just ordered the Polar from Musicstore, they say they might have them available next week.,, definately the week after. There are spaces left for ordering to receive the product within initial shipment.

Doc Jones: That's a bit weird since I was told that my polar will ship oct 3rd in the first shipment(with Novamusik). Hopefully I will get it soon :)

Just paid off the rest of the TI at Digital Village UK who say they are 'expecting' thier first batch next week, of which I will be getting one.

I dont know if DV actually get them from Turnkey (UK Access Disty) or them direct from Access but I hope they are right :)

Yeah, they did say that they are getting a few Polars and Keyboard models in with the first shipment. So if you were one of the early pre-orders they you will probably be getting it with the first batch.
All I can say is that Polar looks niceeeeee :)

Does anyone in the US have availability yet? are they here or still shipping?

Turnkey rang me yesterday to tell me my virus ti will be at my doorstep on monday. :D

Sadly I have to go to work on monday - strangely I might end up feeling ill aroun lunchtime and go home in time for it to arrive and for the rest of the afternoon :)

Just cancelled my order with Musicstore as contrary to what their sales folks were saying 2 weeks ago, there are no Polars in stock available right now. It should have been shipping my way this week, they couldn't tell me when they would have one for me now. Bollox to them.

Called Turnkey where they had 1 x Polar left (so they say? maybe they have more?)

Anyway.. ETA = Tomorrow

Madstation, what is the latest that you have heard from Nova? They also charged my credit card!

Dang, that sucks... do you mean they took the money for the product before they shipped it to you or they charged you for cancelling the order?

I made several phone calls and sent emails also to make sure I received confirmation of my cancelation with musicstore in case I ended up with the same scenario. Who knows, i've not checked they may have charged... their service in this has been pants from the start.

ps - On sending their confirmation of cancellation via email to me they informed me that the Polars were now available in stock.

My credit card was billed and they haven't shipped(and they won't for the next few weeks). Is that legal?

Digital Village UK took stock this afternoon and will be shipping them out to customers tomorrow to arrive Thursday.

This delay in shipping, is it just for the Polar or are we talking about all TIs? I can't really comment about the legality of it, but if you were to find what you ordered somewhere else, you should be able to cancel your order with Nova, get a full refund, and then purchase it at the other store.

I've had mine on order since Feb 2005 and just rec'd an email today to say it's shipped from DV. So I should get it on Thurs. :D :D

ahh, Stylus RMX 1.5 update was just release and it is loaded with some amazing new features. That should hold me over until the TI arrives! (I hope)
