Finally, my own Virus
 

Hi all, I've been waiting and saving and finally she arrived this week. A Virus KC - she is all I dreamed of and more....... :)

Been scouring the web for a decent one at a good price, plus a seller that would ship to Australia, eventually found one in a small town on the East coast of NZ!! and she is mint!

Any hoo - been writing dance music for about 2 years now and seem to have settled into breaks at the moment. Nothing released, yet, but had some radio play and DJ support, so things are trundling along pretty well at the moment. Really looking forward to adding some new sounds to my tracks, but gotta spend some time learning my new baby first. Also am a Audio Engineer, having worked in studios and live.

I no doubt will tap into the accumulated knowledge base here in the near future so look forward to getting to know some of ya better.

You'll have to link the image from another website. Try getting a photobucket account, and then when you've loaded your pics to the web, link the URL in your message like so:

I think thats how to do it...

Dont go to many other forums....unless I have a specific problem, but this place is cool to hang around.

There are numerous people here who are very helpfull in matters not just related to Access Virus synths, but if I have a specific problem with my hardware or software I tend not to bore people here with that too much, and shift them over to other product specific forums.

But, this place is #1 for Virus info, talking shit when u are drunk/stoned, and info about other products you may be wanting to purchase.

Just curious 'cos if you're in Sydney I'm organising (mainly through ITM) a producer meet up at the beginning on next month to talk gear, drink beer, review each others tracks, drink more beer, chin stroke, etc - if you're keen let us know.

Nice setup for sure! I especially jealous of that filter factory. I've had my eye out for a reasonably priced one for about 6 months.

yeah - quite stoked with that purchase - got both the FilterFactory and the Mo-Fx from the States - both old new stock, so hadn't been opened - landed in Sydney for AUS$600. :) gotta love ebay!!!
