I had to empty ALL of my savings and a little more to get it (just before my wife gets ideas about wanting me to spend the money on on baby equipment :wink: ). I just had to have it BEFORE the baby arrive. Not only because of the money but the hours in front of it may not be many in a short time :roll:
It should be here in aprox. 7-10 days (acording to their website). Now i fell like a little boy (who have been peeping under the bed and knows he is going to get the present he always wanted) just waiting for it to become christmas :D

Well envious of you mate. There's one in my local shop and everytime I play on it, I'm really impressed. Great sounds !

The same with me. They have the X6 in my local shop and i keep playing it till my wife stands tripping, asking me "if we pleace can go now" and then i play it a little more and ask if she can?t wait for "just 5 minutes longer" :lol: I think i drive her nuts sometimes :twisted: But now i have done a little surgory on the piggybank with a hammer, overdrawn my creditcard and ordered the X7 :D Oh pleace get here soon...

Will you belive this. They sent an M-Audio Audiophile Firewire interface instead of a Fantom X7 8O How the f... can they mess this up: "hmmm, we have this nice little tiny box and this huge heavy box. I wonder witch one is the Fantom X7. Oh, it?s proberbly the small one" :evil: I called them and the woman in the other end was just as astonished as me. Well at least i?ll get it thursday instead :?

Bad luck Onkel! It's the worst when you're waiting for something and it turns out to be the worng thing.

Still though, you have to laugh. I can just see the guy who got the Fantom trying to plug it into his computer right now.

He wasn?t home when they tried to deliver it. To bad for him. That would have been a great deal :lol:

Anyway i?m just a little anoyed right now. I was planing on spending the whole night playing around with the Fantom and now i have to wait 2 more days (boy does time pass slow). Why does these kind of things always happen to me :evil: When i got my monitors the fuse kept blowing in one of them, when i got my theremin the powersupply was broken, one of the rubberfeet on my Virus was missing when i got it, it took ages for my Emu XL-7 to be delivered because it aparently was discontinued and then he found one anyway and now this :? I guess i?m just not a very lucky person when it comes to ordering new gear...

That's rough. But when it arrives . . . it will be that much sweeter to play with :)
