Are you for real?

Is there seriously no news from Access about the shipping date on the damn TI's? What the hell at least give us some sort of idea!!!

jasedee 28.12.2004 05:24 AM

Good things come to those who wait :)

Nigel Harkness 28.12.2004 06:28 AM

I know, I know but being that this is my first hardware piece i'm getting a little impatient. I mean we have all heard a "approximate" shipping time period of around the first or second week in January but without a word from Access these dates seem to be more and more skeptical, ya know.

Access your killing me!

blay 28.12.2004 08:41 AM

there are other threads regarding this topic here...
perhaps it would be better to keep all updates questions there so we dont end up with 50 threads on the shipping date...

im sure that when access eventually release more info that it will be posted here within the hour. can you imagine how many people have been emailing access regarding the shipping date? if we stop hassling them maybe it will get here a little quicker

Nigel Harkness 28.12.2004 03:53 PM

my apologies!

To me it is obvious access has no plans to roll out the TI until after winter NAMM here in the states. Everything else was just a marketing hype to get excited idiots like you and me to preorder so they can count how much $$ is going to be in their pocket. I wouldn't expect them until the last week of January, or early Feb.

MADSTATION 28.12.2004 04:44 PM

Yeah I believe Merlot is right!

Timo 28.12.2004 05:19 PM

Lol. Hit, nail, head, hammer. :)

Nigel Harkness 28.12.2004 07:31 PM

what are the dates on the NAMM?

inasense 28.12.2004 07:51 PM

I guess I am not going have it by the NY Synthpop Festival on Jan. 14th at this point. Damn , damn and more damn.

MADSTATION 28.12.2004 09:32 PM

Namm is 20-23 jan i think.

Hollowcell 29.12.2004 12:15 AM

Last I heard the Namm dates have been set back. Apparantly Namm has decided only to go ahead with the show after Access releases the TI series - sometime early June. :D

Joke fellas.

I was quite cheeky yesterday and sent an e-mail to Access saying "Is it true you're waiting till mid February (Winter Namm conference) before releasing the Ti's to shops? The response was "We're still Beta Testing". But then I suppose my question would be how long should the Beta testing take?

Hollowcell 01.01.2005 12:27 AM

At least they haven't released it for all the new owners to beta test though. I'd say they would be testing the software compatibility issues - I'm sure there will be heaps of teathing problems if sound diver for the Virus is anything to go by.

Take what you eant out of this, but I just talked to novamusik and they said the TI's are shipping from Germany some time this week. That is what access told them.
I dont think it will be here til after NAMM, but thought this would maybe get some of you excited.

its true; we're in a total lockdown. and really, so its at least
clear here at access-list@ampfea, there is only one public trusted
source, anyway, for this release detail and that is marc schlaile.
i'm sure we'll hear from him on the release date details soon; as you
can imagine, he's very busy.

but it is terribly exciting, i can tell you that much as an insider,
and i can't wait to hear what you guys do with the TI engine when its
in your hands, honest! i think the folks making new patches are
going to be putting out some very interesting, awesome-sounding stuff!

;)
