POS- Won't even power up
TI desktop here. The damn thing will not power up to save my life. I can even take the A/C adapter out and plug it back in. No lights, nothing!! Any suggestions or tips to troublwshoot besides emailing access? :x
|
Ouch....that hurts mate!
Are you confident enough to take it apart and see if there is anything suspect? Dodgy soldering in the PSU or something.... |
Horrible news mate!
Still under 6 months old? |
Mine did that the other day. I solved it by turning my PC on.
Is yours plugged into a computer via the USB? Hope this helps. |

THAT SUX
keep us posted on what happens next. Perhaps they ship it back with 1.1. Cheers, Nailgun |
UPDATE: Got an email back from Access "Thank you for your mail. I'm sorry to hear this. If the unit doesn't react at all, so no LED lighting up (even the middle LED of the transpose buttons) and the display stays dead as well, then the unit must
have a hardware defect of some sort. In this case please get in touch with your music shop you got the TI from and ask for warranty repair. Sorry for the inconvenience caused." Well, I can't recommend www.novamusik.com enough for purchasing gear. They told me to send it in no questions asked and they will swap it out for another one!!! This is even past my 30 day store warranty. Yeah! |
If you get it fast and with 1.1 it was worth it.
if not, then it's just a pain the a$$. cheers, Nailgun |
Wow, Merlot.
So sorry to hear that. THAT SUCKS!!!!! :x :x :x I wish your tracks a speedy recovery... |
