Let it be known that I usually don't react to being called "BIATCH", but as Merl has Turets-syndrome, just this once. :D |
HC,
Nice setup man. Looks like you finally upgraded to SX? |
Yep, I picked up a copy when I was in Ausi last, and I finally upgraded the computer a few months ago now. My old DAW is under the Nord and only runs GuitarRig now.
I have a few more wants though.... New desk. Stereo linkable valve-pre. Hard drives for the samplers. Couple of old analogue distortions. After all that - a few more Analogue synths (for V-Synthing mainly). Haven't run this by the wife yet though. :D |
I am with you on wanting more gear. I definitely want a nice outboard compressor, a API mic pre, and a distressor. Not to mention the analogue mono I want!
Not anytime soon though. i am getting out of the military in august, moving to NYC and pursuing the music bizz and an education. **lifts glass** Here's to hard times, although FUN. |

Hows the Radias going? Ive come to the conclusion its an excellent companion to the virus. Not sure its a synth I would go for as a main synth, but perfect for use with the virus :) |

Yeh about the same - nice bright clean and aliasing free high end. And as you say can make great eneg bass sounds, good fast envelopes I think :)
I rather like its permenantly layered format as well - just like pref mode on the KS-Rack. The seq mods on it are cool as well. Oh - and just me or has that thing got immense headroom on its outputs and/or a really nice limiter/soft clip? |
The limiter is nice. i myself enjoy the effects on the radias. I have to say that the Wah wah is exceptionally good to my ears.

at the risk of posting in every thread regarding studio equipment...
