I noticed that.

Does that mean the Snow (mk1) had two DSPs to start with (that have just been 'unlocked' by OS v3.0 [unlikely]), or is it a newer Snow mk2 hardware revision featuring dual-core DSPs (like the other TIs)?

Or just a typo? :)

I'm afraid its just a typo.

Under specifications, it mentions 10 to 50 voice polyphony, which is correct :p

Is this 64-bit compatible? There is no mention of it in the press release, which makes me nervous.

I was pleasantly surprised to read about this this morning so i headed over to access web site to see what i could see. oh look! movies about cool stuff in os3..oh well ill wait till it comes out in ages..but wait there it is in downloads :D

just installed os3 on "original" TI desktop and the new features are all there. works fine so far. seemed to install a bit faster than 2.7.5 but still no option for "drivers only" or " dont update TI if current" if you had to move your USB port and dont want to wait for the TI firmware update.

and i did not get a reocurrence of the problem in cubase where the "audiodriver failed" on the TI control which it seems i just fixed a few days ago when i installed 2.7.5 lol

good thing apple didnt make this synth, or they would have locked out the extra features of the new OS on the old synth :D

Guess you have to be nervous then...if they do not mention it specifically then you can guess it is not implemented.....sorry...:(

I btw. wonder if the included soundset for the TI 2 also works on the older TI's and use the new FX and/or functions...?

Somebody tried this already...???

Soundsets are the original Ti soundsets, I was expecting a new bank or 26 too but theres nothing new here.

Tx for the quick reply IamEvil....gives me more time to play with the new effects iso. checking the sounds if they are different... ;)

I don't know if it's only with the snow, but the new OS3 sometimes just hangs and plays a standard INIT tone continuosly. It usually happens when I'm loading a new patch. Don't know, if it's cause it runs out of DSP.

I simply put it to sleep and wake it up, seems to work for now.
