The vikings were Scandinavians.. ie. Swedes, Danes, and Norwegians.
Us Brits are a mixture of everyone. Celts/Gaels (Scots/Irish/Welsh), Viking (Scandinavians), Normans (French), Saxons (German), Romans (er, Italians), and probably many more... Everyone wanted this little island for some strange reason. They couldn't have come for the weather, that's for sure!! :) |
