The problem is not other people's browsers, but a bad scripted website...;)

Oh,and the official respons from Access : "Please try again using Firefox"...

i don't think that you got much of a proof unless you know how many people have registered successfully. but that doesn't matter much. what matters is: we are working on it. in fact, we are no web specialist, we build musical instruments. all we can do is approach the company who coded the site for us. and that's what we did a week ago when we launched the site.

the person who made an "official response" probably just wanted to try to help by suggesting that it's worth trying another browser to evaluate if the problem persists. i'm using safari with the site since month btw. and i _can_ log in without trouble.

the people here who have problems logging in should contact access support and help us finding out what goes wrong. that's all we can offer.

Hahaha...but that's where the problem is : the contact form doesn't work with a lot of people,so people cannot reach you and tell you that it doesn't work :D

But i shall stop nagging,i'm sure it's not your fault and you guys will do anything to fix it...and thanx for still being here to answer questions...

Big problem i have now is that i cannot open Virus Control in several projects i'm working on,i'm in contact with support to hopefully get rid of that problem...i was just very pissed off that i couldn't reach support because of the website problems...

i'm sorry for your problems. obviously i cannot tell how many people cannot use the contact form. all i can say is that every browser we've tried, it works on. see, the whole problem for us is that it works fine. and you're right. it is in our very own interest to get this fixed. we are the customers in this moment buying a product (the website code) as well - as weird as it might sound.

Here's my problem with the access page:

I log on normally on the main page, everything goes fine.

When I go to user forums, it says i'm not logged in. When I press the login button, it takes me back to main page and opens the login prompt.

I login again and when I go back to the forums, it says i'm not logged in.

I'm using Safari on Mac. I don't know if it has any effect but when I first signed in, I was away at my Virus and selected the "i don't own a virus" - option. Then I added one later when I had the serial number handy. Could this pose trouble when trying to access the forums? I got a confirmation e-mail and everything that I have registered my Virus TI.

maleficium, I actually had this happen to me the first day i tried to log in. I got around it by clearing the cache and cookies out of my browser (IE) and then reconnecting. Definitely try that and see if it works.

Tried all of the above, scratching my head a bit. I get identical symptoms to Maleficium.

Tried Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3, and Google Chrome, all fully updated, all with the same result (unable to login to forum). All temp files and cookies flushed via each browser, and via CCleaner. I can log on via the homepage, but the forum shows as not logged in, and then kicks me out to the homepage after trying to re-login directly via the forum. However the homepage still shows me as logged in. The forum just doesn't recognise it.

Originally thought I wasn't welcome on their site or something at first as the name 'Timo' had been taken prior to the forum going public! That said, it is a common name in the Nordic countries, so I assume a staff member has it.

It happened to me, too, and i had to contact support with all my profile details! I got a password reset email back a few hours later, though i hadn't asked for one. However, it's all working for me now! There is a guy called Timo on there, and he's also an admin... I thought it was you, Timo, and was happy you'd been given Admin on the official site for all your hard work here. Sorry to now hear that's not the case :(

I wouldn't worry about that Timo. They let me register with 'Hollowcell', and if there is anyone they wouldn't welcome there it would have to be me. :)

By the way it's all working fine for me.
