Ok... Now this is getting interesting. Israel has probably deliberately bombed UN HQ and the UNIFIL medical troops in Lebanon. Four were killed including one Finn.

What the hell are the chosen people thinking (again). Now Israel had made itself so big arse that it's giving extremely good competition for US & "The war on terrorism".

Interesting times...

It's so hard not to start judging a race on the actions of some trouble makers, or even their governments.

those u.n. forces have been there for over 20 years now....they have been killed at a rate of around 10 per year by either side....and I think by accident...all together they already lost like over 200 u.n. there.

Well, if I had to take sides, it wouldn't be for the one that would have all women looking like a sack of potatoes, banning music and generally promising virgin screwing in the next life.

Yup. The problem is that the UN HQ was targeted. Even simple artillery can target areas in few meters radius, you can't hit buildings by an accident unless you have gathered people from a nearest bus station to do the shooting.

i don't think the u.n. was targeted on purpose because israel is already critisized enough i don't think they would want that attracted negative attention period.

So the UN HQ might have been captured by the Hizbollah terrorists so it had to be bombed?

There are several weird things on the conflict.

1. Mossad has succesfully assainated or captured people from Israel's black list (Nazi war criminals, antisemitist leaders, considered political threats, etc) for decades with almost none civilian victims. Now they are bombing civilian targets to get Hizbollah terrorists - Less than a percent of kills are terrorists.

2. Odd targeting. Israel goverment has informed that they minimise the civilian bodycount as best as they can, but they target civilian habited buildings because those might contain terrorist or two. It's like getting rid of few flies by burning the whole building down.

If Syria gets involved to the conflict we really have a war there.
