I tried opening it in Pro 53 with FL5 and no can do. But it opened another .fxp file no prob. Is it corrupted poss? Can you post it again, because that sound I have been after for ages.

It wont work with FL because the file he provided is a cubase file.

I can open other .fxp files that I have found on the web, just not this one.

FXP format only Cubase?
 
Take a look at the presets in your VSTi's' folders. FXP is a commonly used patch format and it naturally works in other sequencers than Cubase too. VSTi's that use it include Delta III, Albino 2 and Z3ta+.
