Don't dash our hopes now Merlot.

I dont see it coming before April. i think they are leaving that on there, b/c they know they are getting to the point where people are going to start saying enough is enough. I hope I am wrong though!

Only time will tell.

I cancelled my order.

A) I think they're a**holes for perpetually lying about the release date.
B) I woke up to the fact that it's insane to put down that much money for a product that hasn't been thoroughly reviewed and tested.
C) I'm going to wait until they upgrade the hardware interface to Firewire or at least USB 2.0 (and you know they eventually will). And until they've worked the kinks out of the OS, which there still will be even when it ships.
D) I'd rather spend that money now on tried and true products and actually be working on music instead of twiddling my thumbs, waiting and hoping for some elusive ship date.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I'll buy a TI eventually but I've just realized that my previous impatience was just a bit of foolishness engineered by a marketing machine eager to line its pockets as soon as possible.

It is already USB 2.0. I wouldn't hold out for Firewire.

It is not usb2, its usb2 compatible. Which basically means you can plug it into a usb2 port and it will work fine. It is infact usb1 spec and speed, meaning 12mb/s. Yes, I agree It SHOULD of been usb2 or firewire from the beginning and allowed all 16 chans of audio instead of 2/3 but there you go, maybe an upgrade later on or TI-2.

This usb bandwidth problem is the only downside of the TI. I would like to use many other audio unit fx plugins for the individual trakcs but TI means that you'll be using mostly the TI's own fx (which are good, but not enough). I will wait and see if Access updates the driver to be able to use 4 stereo outs. That would be the minimum usable amount of connections.

Keep it in your pants. Europe first, US second, Japan and then on down the ole imperial landscape.
