Well i just bought the TI2, 6 months old, still under warranty, mint condition in a smoke free studio for £915

Feeling preety chuffed seen as there £1435 new.

Poor guy lost his job and badly needed the money.


Cant wait to get it and hoping i made the right choice an paid twice as much for the TI over the Virus C

Personally I'd hold fire on the Steinberg MR816 to see how you go with the TI2. Shame to spend next to a grand just on converters just for the Virus. But if you're really after a fully fledged interface there are also other great interfaces to bear in mind such as the RME Fireface range, Focusrite Saffire, MOTU 896mk3 et al, some even with MIDI I/O.

I need a separate interface as i plan on using 2 sets of monitors (one for DJ set up and one for producing) and i plan on getting a nord lead in the future so i need something with lots of good quality I/O's

Ive done a fair bit of research and it seems that the MR81 is by far the best interface in that price range. The quality of the pre amps and convertors is the main issue for me.
