32 or 64 bit
 

Question: i use Ableton on a Win7 64bit PC but since Ableton is 32 bit
should i go for the 32-bit release or would de 64-bit version of VC also work in Ableton?

64 bit because the driver required is 64 bit - you will use the 32 bit plug-in in ableton, it's installed anyway by the vc installer

OK, after installation without any problems, took a long time though.
When i put the VST on a MIDI track in Ableton, i received an error from VC
saying something like "Hardware not up to date"
i did all the necesary steps and i have updated before, so i don't know what's wrong.
Anybody noticed the same?

Let Virus Control Center re-update your Virus' OS (should be obvious but it's the "OS" option in the VCCenter)

Does anyone else suffer from slow graphic redraw while switching tabs? It worked great OS3 and early OS4 releases, but I'm starting get annoyed by this.

Yes. XP 32 SP3. The lagging I can deal with most of the time, but when my entire VST GUI disappears, I get angry. :x

Ableton 8.2.2 crashes a lot due to the vst plugin!!!!
this is verified by ableton support that analised my statusreport.

I moved the plugin from my vst directory and now troublesome projects load and work fine (....for now).

any one experienced the same?

from the ableton forum it has become clear that lots of people struggle with ableton 8.x.x from crashes by all kinds of vdt plugins.

and in Sonar 8.1.3 the plugin is started but not it never comes to a full loaded plugin
it keeps showing ""starting"" and it puts my polar into sequence mode, but that is all. no further control.

I intend to use the Polar through the good old MIDI in-Out instead of using the plugin.
