Thanks for the response Marc...
I was hoping not to jump ships as I really like Cubase and used to it. If it's going to be in Cubase6 at a cost then I'll hold on at 5.5 and learn Ableton as a second DAW, although I have heard reports that Ableton is not as good with midi implementation. Other option is Reaper which I have but just can't get my heard around or time to learn tbh. Thanks anyway... PS : Now go and kik SB up the preverbrial exit route :) |

I'm glad to see this OS is at least in the "Release" versions download section--I was starting to get confused as to why the previous versions kept being posted in the "Beta" sections!

I just got an email today saying that version 4 is out but I downloaded 4.05.01 a few days ago. Is there a new version or something?

Maybe they put it out on the forums before e-mail everyone in case of bugs?

Hey guys, will try the new version this week, yay!
I too am eagerly waiting the Windows 7 fix as this is one of the two plugins holding me back from upgrading (ArtsAcoustic Reverb is the other). To all my fellow Cubase users, trust me, the grass is NOT greener elsewhere, except perhaps in Logic Pro land. I've just been using Ableton Live recently for some DJ mixes (would have used Cubase if I could ... ) and you will miss a massive amount of essential features that you take for granted. e.g. Snapping automation points to grid, can't do it! ... Selecting items with a marquee tool ... not possible .etc ... I could go on for a while. The newest version of the amazing dblue Glitch plugin now works perfectly in Cubase 4+, so it would probably feed your hunger for atomizer. http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/ All the best :) |
