the only conspiracy I really believe with regards to 9/11 is that I think there's probably a pretty good chance (maybe 25%) that the government shot down the 4th plane. I don't blame them for doing it and making it look like the passengers were a bunch of heroes (if they did) - it's win/win.

I live in chicago and it was the most beautiful day and everyone I knew got to leave work because they didn't know if more attacks would take place and maybe in chicago. I make jokes about everything but I knew to keep my mouth shut that day - people took it very personally.

Is it only me or does it not make sense that making 9/11 to be a conspiracy itself is the perfect smoke screen to deny any knowledge of the truth. Look at JFK assasination - decades on we still don't know. This reflects a fact that a crime on a massive scale that the general public cannot or find it difficult to accept purpitators will generally never be bought to justice.

Sure 9/11 was a tragedgy but not on a catastrophic scale when you compare to the retalitaion. Who spares a thought for any other nations that have lost hundreds or thousands of people through natural disasters, war, man made blunders, genecide and so on.

How easy a country forgets its own people - New Orleans for example.

Is there not always a simple solution to such great facades!

Personally I think that when you combine the many scientific anomalies that occured that day, the deliberate lack of military and airforce deployment, the direct lies and misleading statements made at the time by senior politicians, the lack of thorough or reasoned government investigation, and the political, financial and military aftermath, it is clear to me that the attacks were a fraud.

Sawtooth I respect your opinion, but I strongly feel that the American people were emotionally manipulated and coerced into some of the most dangerous policy making seen in the last 50 years. And as a citizen belonging to the rest of the world, for better or worse (imo worse), what America chooses to do has a massive impact on the rest of us.
