Is it true? I mean the midi protocol is universal, how could a device not respond to simple midi messages of certain keyboards?

midi is universal and we don't know of any incompatibility with any keyboard. as i said some weeks ago, try version 3.0.4.00 because there _was_ a problem.

If it helps... I had the same problem as the original thread creator, and sort of still do. After upgrading to 3.0.4 nothing changed. THOUGH (!), when I chain a midisport 2x2 inbetween the two rather than directly in from my M-AUDIO radium it works just fine. Dunno why it makes a difference, but it does.

Hi, did you ever solve this, I have a new Snow and it's driving me nuts! No sound from the Snow with a connected Midi keyboard, I have tried a Yamaha and a Novation and nothing plays the Snow - how can they sell them with such a crazy fault? I got it to play only when an external instrument channel is selected in Logic and then through the jack outs only. I have never heard anything from the Snow in standalone mode with a Midi keyboard straight into it.
