is this using the USB outputs or the Analogue ones?

I'm not here to cause trouble, I'm here to help out! :)

Sorry, you beat me to it. I used the USB outputs in that test. I always try to use the USB O/P's as the latency between both I feel is now negligible to a certain degree.

Cheers marc,

Aj.

can you send me that test? i'm not aware that switching tracks has an influence on the timing, using the USB outs.

Oh, I see what you mean. I know the drill with the USB and analog outs with regards to arps. But thanks for checking. :)

Thanks marc,

But we're getting nowhere here. Did you watch my vid? You also dodged my questions quite nicely! I appreciate you take time out to do this, especially on a Saturday night, because that's what Im doing right now trying to get total integration! If you want me to send you a logic project with 1 instrument track and a few bars then fair enough, I will! :)

The thing is, this is probably the best sounding synth I have, and I have a few, so naturally, I just want to see it work right, right?

Cheers.

hi, i wasn't dodging your question, i just wanted to clarify something before answering. and as for your video, you've recorded a situation where the virus crashed. i'm not sure what this got to do with your problem, independently of the fact that the virus simply shouldn't crash.

here's to answer your questions: the bpm light is not in time as much as the analog outs are not in time. this is something that was present since version 1. in a nutshell, to compensate the offset VC would need some information form the host which it cannot access. the good news is that we convinced most host developers that having this information would be beneficial and with a little luck there will be positive news regarding the subject sooner or later.

as for your USB out not being in time - sorry, no clue. mine are in time and i'm not a oracle. if yours were not in time just after the crash in the video, i think it's possible that the whole syncing system doesn't recover fully after a crash.

if you want to help us reproducing the crash (which is also covered here: http://infekted.org/virus/showthread.php?t=30903) please do.

thanks, marc
