Bummer. Just checked it. Followed your instructions to the letter, including the pressing edit twice thing, and it's still not there.
Pressing edit twice seems to just switch between the different categories of options in the Edit menu. I guess it could be OS-related. I'll have my new DAW by the weekend so I'll update it then, and check it out :> -Annikk |
I hope someone else will chime in on this, I swear I have described it right and even double checked on my hardware.
I have a Virus C and a TI here, so it isnt to do with the version. Of course you could always use VC. Press Osc Edit, if it says Oscillator 1 then press it again, now it either says Common, Ring mod, or noise. Use parameter to click through the options til you reach noise page. Happy hunting. |
My new DAW (which has been delayed AGAIN) doesn't arrive till the middle of next week. Since VC won't install on a 64 bit operating system, I have not had a chance to try it yet. This is also the reason why I am still languishing with version 2.7.3.
I'm at work currently and therefore sans a virus to test stuff on. There is one thing that may provide a clue, sort of. When I was messing around with the global settings, I found one that changes the functionality of the keys that change the current menu screen. I changed it so that pressing left or right cycles to the next parameter, rather than the next page. I'm wondering if this has somehow caused the noise (and, for that matter, ring mod) sections to disappear. The likeliest explanation of course is that I'm simply being a retard :> Anyway I'm sure all will become clear eventually... -Annikk |
