I am thinking about getting the duo-version. I have been without uad1 for over a year now. Been waiting for a more powerful solution and now they finally have it. However, it seems that if you get the quad and use tons of the plugins, it will cause a big strain on your cpu's if running latencies lower than 512 samples. Somehow that was to be expected. Anyway, it is nice to see that even the solo version can run 2-3 times some of the plugins compared to uad1. Earlier I had 2 uad1's and I could mix quite well with them so the duo would be more than enough for me. They are not the only plugins I use. I am also planning of getting the sonnox bundle. They are quite nice plugins and don't even need much of cpu. :)
