Doesn't the V-Synth use the same supersaw engine as the original trance machine - the JP80x0?

IamEvil - great demo! Thick as hell.

V-Synth: VA oscillators are mono without even the ability to pan them seperately. You get some width in the effects section at the end.

Virus: Filters can be in parallel with adjustable stereo spread between filter 1 and 2. Unison mode detunes and pans the copies making a true wide sound. Then the delays, choruses and reverbs give you more space. This thing can sound very wide.

You can actually run V-Synth filters side by side as well. Just have each OSC routed to a different set of filters. Of course if you have stereo samples, each with a single left and right channel, then it works in the same way. Add the cool isolator filter combo in the MFX section, and you have a third filter over the top of the others.
EDIT: Have duel filter in the first two cosm sections and you have each channel going to two different filters, then you have the final MFX Isolator combo at the end. *dreeeewl.

Also regarding panning and space: You can set up the LFOs in the TVA section to give off huge panning FX. Then of course you can play with the modulation sequencer which allows for pretty crazy mutilation. Also the hexa and space chorus are cool, not to mention the stereo pitch shifter (this thing is great for spread and space) and the psuedo-stereo. Shit, even the stereo delay is very cool, and then the multi-tap kicks butt!! Being able to set different EQs and panned space for each separate delay is great - all synths and FX units should have this.

I guess to sum up....

I love my V-Synth. :)
