I use Traktor DJ Studio when DJing with a Asio soundcard so you can monitor while playing your track...I also use the EVOLUTION X-session UC-17 Midi controller

Aha, many thanks :) just not heard of that expression before :)

My lad seems to like it, and managed to get it working very quickly on his laptop setup. I admit that I was rather impressed for the money too!

PS: that reminds me - I really must get hold of some of your TI soundsets... :)

Just been trying on of those behringer controllers with Virtual DJ - works really well.

Dont see any controller template type thing for it for Tractor though - actually tracktor looks a bit primitive on the controller side in the demo - yes you can assign external controllers to just about anything, but doesnt seems to support sending of status anywhere - LEDs etc - am I missing something?

Oh BTW - just got one of these beasties
