thx for the info. i've had trouble w/soundiver working with the xl. i had heard of the problems that users encountered and just gave up about 1.5 years ago. you've given me motivation to try it again. btw - call me anything...just call me. i've been called a lot worse than n00b or dwEEb or neophyte. i just thought the description was funny & odd. |
Baldo,
What soundcard you using? |
So do these editors act like Total Integration does?
If its showing up in you VST plugin folder? DS |
I think Total Integration on the TI tries to incorporate the audio and midi streams, DS.
The progs above are just like a glorified SoundDiver front end? |

The vyzor one lets you use them as a vsti also...
* Windows 2000/XP or Mac OS X platform support * Saves / Loads your instrument's SysEx data to & from disk * Supports all instrument data types such as patches, banks, combis, multis, rhythms, system, etc. * Runs as a stand-alone application, as a VST plug-in & as a Studio Connections Editor * 3 powerful types MIDI THRU options for connection to control surfaces and other instruments * Automated control of MIDI patch bays for multiple instrument control on a single port * MIDI file, MIDIX/Cakewalk, XML and Text format export of SysEx data and patch names * MIDIX file send utility to send these data files to your instrument * Supports up to 32 individual MIDI ports * AutoSense scans and configures Vyzor's MIDI port and SysX channel settings to match your instrument * Smart Controller maps any controls surace knob or slider to the currently selected editor parameter for quick hands-on editing. You should also be able to bounce down in real-time just like the TI (cubase sx3/nuendo3 already let you do this anyway.) ten |
they should hurry up already...cubase has had this for so long ...I have a feeling the au verion won't be out at the same time as the vst versions imo.
|
its a bit different from the cubase hardware vst editor thingy if i understood correctly.
by using the cubase thingy you can control your hardware by midi cc as a vst interface and have the comfortable automation lines but you cant receive feedback from the hardware itself which is one of the major things in total intergration,im assuming these vst editors has it... ? or alse there is no real reason of buying these... |
I hope they make a version for the Ti!

hi just wanted to say i contacted the reckon audio company and they said that the plug in is still being worked on and will take a few more months ...thats just for the pc version the mac is not even in the picture as of yet. just what I was thinking anyways though
Also if anyone can contact the vyzor company to let us know about the progress on that plug that would be very cool ...also interesting if theres gonna be a mac version of that vyzor one. I haven't contacted them yet |
