Thanks a lot for the comments!
Cool soundclip and screenshot but the sync issues are a REALLY bad thing :( What's the deal with the programmable arp if you can't even use it?

Well first of all, sounds really good. I need to listen this on my monitors at my studio when I get home, but it sounds good on the speakers I am using - thanks for posting that i3. 2nd, the ARP issue definitely has me concerned as this is the 2nd time someone mentioned it.

ya true. it may be better in different environments. Ive always had bad sync issues with cubase. always a small delays. I just step sequence the arp now. its more precise.

Ah ok, that's good to know - it may be system specific. I didn't have any issues with my virus c and cubase sx 3, so hopefully because of that, I won't have issues with the TI. They need to send me the synth asap so that i can confirm

now as a owner of a TI I will have to say im a satisfied person after the wait. I do see some limitations but I did see a great improvement in my work environment as in funcionality and great reduction of cpu. I was using 97% of my cpu using soft synths and now I can work in realtime and throw in a softy here and there. my only concern is that of the exporting and mixdowns. Id rather export then record. It is a usb hog! I have to use my remote 25 via midi. overall its better then the c.

you forgot to turn on the plugin delay compensetion thingy.

Is that CPU usage (in the screenshot) for the virus alone?! 8O

Best,
midi.

Have you set the Export to realtime? If you don't, you'll just get garbled noise.

Also, for some reason, I always have to re-adjust the ASIO settings before SX3 will behave for me. If I don't, there are drop-outs/stutters, and the arps will go way out as a result, even though there is no actual change to the ASIO settings.

I would like to know this too and what computer, soundcard and latency you're using.... I'm trying to figure out if there's more sense to buy a Virus C + another 20" lcd instead of TI if the TI needs too much cpu to run. In fact all the sounds in the demo can be done with any virus.
