I wanted FSRL.com and went for net instead since it was taken.
Also I wanted FusionRoom.com and I put a backorder on it
and just 2 years later it was mine!! :D You could get the
hyphen one it's availble and then put a back order on the
other one.

Maybe it is the other way 'round here.. DS stole DS and therefor they had to register a DS.com-URL which then made DS pissed and accused them of stealing his DS-nick.

But we all know that nuts is the answer for this one.

^ That's the registrant [details], which I've partly censored for their privacy (and against harvesting bots), found via a simple WHOIS search.

The site is already set up (albeit not coded particularly well, by the looks of it!), and the 'genre' is in a completely different area compared to music-tech stuff.

Unfortunately, you don't have any case to force him off of it. If you liked the name that much you should've regged it back in '98. ;)
