Bass lines

How do you prevent an off beat bass line sounding so damn bouncey ??

I have just used one bass sound from the virus c yet it just seems to bounce along no matter what I do??

I think I have worked out how, by making the notes long in SX :)

caleyking: Another solution would be to tweak the enveloppe a bit(add some release), just make sure it doesnt plays @ the same moment as the bassdrum...If it does, try remove the kick freqs from the bline on every kickdrum so they dont overlap too much
