Using keyfollow on the Oscillators

I'm wondering how people use keyfollow on the oscillators of the VC. To me, they only sound right when they're set at + 32 or 0. Does anyone have any ideas how I can use it better?

making FX is where u would notice a difference by editing those...also drum sounds sometimes u dont want it to follow the keyboard as well and just be triggered by it...

as for sounds ill give u a hint...for bass' and leads...play with it in sync mode...if u play around u will find out what im talkin about...
